The HPE 1/8 MSL G2 0-Drive Tape Autoloader is a low volume, entry-level tape automation device that will make the backup and archive process easier with less manual work involved than traditional means. Built to work with LTO-5, LTO-6, LTO-7, and LTO-8 Ultrium tape drives, this versatile device allows companies the flexibility to select the best type of storage technology to meet both their current and future needs.

With 8 cartridge slots and a removeable magazine, the 1/8 Autoloader provides improved speed of media handling and increased backup performance. With the use of an integrated barcode reader, the Autoloader will make the process of identifying cartridges and maintaining inventory easier, reducing the number of administrative tasks and minimizing the chance of media handling errors.
