Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has introduced the LTO-7 Ultrium 15000 external tape drive, which combines performance, scalability, and security to help manage increasing backup demands for businesses today. The LTO-7 technology provides a native capacity of 6TB and a compressed capacity of up to 15TB per cartridge, making it efficient for organizations with a large amount of critical data.

The HPE LTO-7 Ultrium 15000 external tape drive has native transfer speeds of up to 300 MB/s, which help reduce the backup window and increase the time required to recover mission-critical applications. Because the integrated AES 256-bit hardware encryption protects sensitive data at rest, the backup solution provides secure storage while ensuring compliance with industry regulations without imposing any performance penalties on the server.
