By using this adapter, enterprise-level servers are also able to support 12Gb/s SATA or SAS, resulting in faster transfer of data and greater efficiency when operating multiple types of storage, including virtualization products, databases and enterprise-level workloads.
Due to its use of the PCIe 3.0 x8, low profile, and half-height designs, the H241 Smart HBA has been tested against and determined compatible with multiple generations of the HPE ProLiant server platform – Gen9 and Gen10.
