HP H241 Smart Host Bus Adapter (HBA)

The HPE H241 Smart Host Bus Adapter provides a cost-effective solution to enhancing both storage performance and internal storage connectivity in enterprise-level servers.

The adapter supports both 12Gb/s SAS and SATA drive interfaces, allowing for high-speed transfers of large amounts of data associated with virtualization, database processing, and other mission-critical applications. The PCIe 3.0 x8 interface provides very high bandwidth to transfer data to/from storage devices in a smooth manner, which is essential for processing demanding workloads that rely on hard disk drive (or other storage arrays) as the primary medium for storing information.

The low-profile and half-height design lowers the physical requirements necessary to integrate these adapters into various chassis for servers while allowing continued scalability and compatibility with the entire line of HPE ProLiant gen9 and gen10 server systems.

The HPE H241 will also support HPE Smart Array software RAID to enhance the redundancy of storage systems and increase the overall protection of business data.
